Qhyany
Heritage: The Artifact
Supernovae are spreading outward from the Scutum-Crux Arm
of the galaxy. Ambassadors from an alien Federation of Sentient
Species arrive in Coalition space, accusing Humanity of causing
them.
Beset by his lost memories, Eric McCloud, a xeno-archeologist,
studies the alien artifact left on Earth over a million years
ago. Although the artifact remains a mystery, Eric is convinced
that it holds the key to both the galactic explosions and
his lost memories.
Zadine Voltaire, a telepath whose daughter is plagued by terrible
nightmares, is running from Space Patrol with a kilo of illegal
alien drug.
During a raid
to steal the alien artifact, members of the Shionad kill
Eric’s
brother. Necessities throw Zadine and Eric together at Clark
Station.
Alien intrigue and clues from the Annals propel Eric and his
friends on a quest to find the Qhyan-Ehoans, an enigmatic elder
race or their temporal weapon that might possibly stop the
induced supernovae.
They battle alien pirates, as well as human criminals while
the stellar explosions escalate. Fraught with danger, sorrow,
and joy, the quest slowly reveals the terrifying truth about
the Qhyan-Ehoans and their Ancient Nemesis. Before they can
defeat the enemy, Eric must regain his lost memories, and Zadine
must stop running from her destiny and accept her Johannist
powers.
The Cover Files: Fragments
In the twenty-second century, Humanity has spread to the Moon
and to the terraformed Mars. On Earth, the two Fragments of
Cora Delacort, clones of herself with her partial personalities,
begin to cause problems. Her Mother Fragment cares for her
son properly, but she's plagued by strange dreams of alien
abductions. Dancer is functioning well for a short time, and
then suddenly starts experiencing alien visions during the
recording of Senso Dances. Cora fears that they're developing
the dreaded Split Personality Syndrome, which would ensure
their destruction by the Panel of Bioregulation.
In the face of the political turmoil of the Moon Colony's
attempt to secede from Earth, and a powerful faction that would
go to any length to keep the aliens' presence secret, the Ynevon
pursue their deadly agenda relatively unnoticed by humans.
Admiral Frann of Defense and Intelligence knows that the aliens
are annihilating spacecrafts and even some floating islands
on Earth, but he is ordered not to attack their base on the
dark side of the Moon.
Defying Coalition laws, Cora investigates independently and
learns that something far more sinister than Split Personality
Syndrome is causing the visions of her Fragments. When the
aliens kill both her Fragments, Cora is determined to unravel
the mysteries. With the help of Zac, her lover and father of
her son, and Travis, another Belter, they set out to locate
the alien base. They race against time, treachery, and political
turmoil to stop the aliens' deadly plan.
But the Ynevon have a valid reason to fear Humanity, a reason
that's buried in their genetic makeup.
